#OnlineSafetyAtHome

I am sure as every parent knows young children pick up using technology very quickly.  They seem to be able to quickly learn how to use your phone to find cartoons, music and games.  With school being closed and pupils having more time to access the internet we still need to be mindful to keep our children safe online.

With this in mind I will be posting some excellent resources from CEOPs that are suitable to use with your children.  Please watch the film with your children and use the guide below to help keep your family safe online.

After you have watched the cartoon so good questions to ask your child are:-

  • What did you think about the cartoon?
  • Which were your favourite parts?
  • How did Jessie feel when she watched ‘The Funny Tummy’ video?
  • How did she feel when she watched ‘The Happy Croccy’ video?
  • How did her feelings change?
  • How did she get help to feel better?

The key message from all these videos is to always tell an adult.

If you want to find out more information please go to https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/ that have resources for children and parents and carers.
